We chose TedxYouth@BayArea because, as the name may suggest, we plan to organize this talk for teenagers all over the Bay Area. In the contemporary world, the majority of the perspectives we see on the media are directed towards adults. Teens hardly have a chance to learn about topics that are directly related to them. Therefore, we hope to host a TEDx event where a combination of teen and adult speakers can discuss a variety of topics, and ultimately bring relatable perspectives for teens in our local community.
